Government Transparency Since taking office, Rep. Seth Grove has worked to increase transparency in state government. He leads by example by serving openly and ensures his legislative expensive ae readily available to the public. Grove also worked tirelessly to ensure the administration continues to follow the law and answer Right-to-Know requests during state of emergency declarations. He introduced House Bill 2463, which unanimously passed the Legislature, and fought hard to have it become law despite Gov. Tom Wolf’s strong and ill-conceived opposition to it. The law Act 77 of 2020 requires state agencies to answer the public’s questions submitted through Right-to-Know requests. • Legislative Expenses • DoH Right to Know Response • House Republican Lawmakers: Lack of DOH Data Justifying Governor’s PIAA Recommendation Underscores Need for Legislative Fix • Department of Education Right to Know Response • Grove: Education Department Lacks COVID Data to Justify Recommendation to Cancel Sports • Grove Shares Insight into State’s COVID-19 Response with Residents • Grove Seeks Answers Through RTKs on Wolf No-Sport Edict • Voice of the People Heard, Wolf Allows Transparency Bill to Became Law Sans Signature, Grove Says
