HARRISBURG – The York County Republican Delegation to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, which consists of Reps. Seth Grove (R-Dover), Kristin Phillips-Hill (R-York Township), Dawn Keefer (R-Dillsburg), Kate Klunk (R-Hanover), Keith Gillespie (R-Hellam) and House Appropriations Chairman Stan Saylor (R-Red Lion), will offer a free Active Shooter Seminar to residents.
This informational seminar will feature highly trained state police troopers who will lead a discussion and give a presentation on what do to if residents find themselves in an active shooter situation, whether it be at work, church, in a store or any other public place.
The seminar will be held at Horticulture Hall in the
York Expo Center, 334 Carlisle Ave. on Thursday, Oct. 11, from 6-8 p.m.
The major benefit of attending the seminar is knowing what to do when disaster strikes. Most active shooter incidents happen quickly and don’t last long. Immediate action does save lives. Attendees will learn how to act and react in these deadly situations.
This is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required. For more information, call Rep. Grove’s office at (717) 767-3947.
