HARRISBURG – State Rep. Seth Grove (R-Dover) issued the following statement in response to BAE Systems’, a producer of military vehicles, decision to expand operations at its West Manchester Township facility as part of a $44.5 million project:
“I am thrilled BAE Systems has decided to invest in its York County manufacturing facility and create 530 new, full-time jobs. This $44.5 million project is a commitment to our county and will support our economy through high-paying, family-sustaining jobs. This project will also ensure its 1,438 existing, statewide positions will remain here in Pennsylvania.
“BAE has been a good neighbor in the 196th District, the county and the state. I am pleased York County will continue to be a manufacturer of military equipment used by the men and women proudly wear our country’s uniform.”
